So what is a wiki about using the iPad in education doing on treetops? Easy!
- The iPad, like all great Apple products is built to be accessible straight out of the box. it is universal design in action.
- Mobile learning / ubiquitous devices such as the iPad are the future of educational technology that is here now! The large number of schools and educational settings across Australia trialling the iPad is evidence of this. It also reinforces the findings of the Horizon report.
- Tthere are so many apps for both the iPad and iPod that empower students with diverse learning needs.
Some of the resources on this wiki are disability specific, many of them are not. The rationale is that by sharing these resources it might promote your thinking and your practice within the classroom.
